Frequently Asked Questions

• When will the season start?
For Farm (7 yrs old by Aug 31, 2018) and above, baseball activity will start on Feb 1, 2018. T-Ball and Coach Pitch will start Feb 26, 2018.

• When will practices and games take place?
Practices will be scheduled by the Manager based on their schedule and field availability. T-Ball and Coach Pitch will only play 1 game per week on Saturdays. Farm, Minors, Majors, and Juniors will play Saturdays before the time change and then 2-3 games per week after the time change depending number of TLL teams, field availability, and inter-league schedules.

• What if I don't live or go to school in TLL boundaries?
Unfortunately, this is a requirement of Little League. There are potentially waivers for siblings and players who moved from TLL, but those are not easy exceptions.

• Do parents and other adults really need to submit a volunteer form?
Yes, the volunteer form and background check are important steps in protecting our kids. We've recently learned that an adult with a child-related crime on their record was allowed to be around players without a background check, and those league charters are now under review.

• Who do I contact if I want to volunteer to be a Manager, Coach, or another important volunteer?
First, complete the online volunteer form (button above on this page) and then email help@tierrasantalittleleague.org with your interest.

• Did the price increase?
Last year we did an early bird pricing experiment, but this year we've returned to our traditional pricing structure. Like any non-profit organization, we're focused on pricing to cover the increasing costs of running the league while making baseball available to as many kids in Tierrasanta as possible.
